Description
Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche on the last part of a famous prayer of supplication to the lineage lamas of the Lamrim tradition--popularly known as "Source of All My Good" and "Begging for a Mountain of Blessings." These fourteen verses, composed by Je Tsongkapa, are a concise presentation of all the key elements in the path to enlightenment. The first nine present the essential topics of the path that are common to both the non-Tantric and Tantric forms of Mahayana Buddhism. The last five address crucial topics in the Tantric tradition: entering the door to the Vajrayana by receiving an initiation blessing; keeping pure the vows and pledges, which are the main cause for achieving the goals of the practice; learning and practicing the two stages of Anuttarayoga Tantra, which are the heart of the Tantric path; supporting teachers and fellow practitioners, as well as overcoming one's own obstacles; and being watched over in all one's future lives by a true spiritual guide so that you can quicly achieve the ultimate goal of enlightenment.
